Numberthon ("we", "us") is a math practice and competition platform. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep things simple: we only collect what we need to run your account and improve the product.

What we collect

• Account info: your name and email address when you sign up.
• Gameplay data: your ELO rating, match history, puzzle attempts, streaks, and course progress.
• Usage analytics: anonymous traffic data (landing page, referrer, device type) to understand how people find Numberthon. This is not tied to your identity.
• Support messages: if you contact us, we store your name, email, and message to respond to you.

How we use your data

• To create and maintain your account and save your progress.
• To match you with opponents at your skill level and track your rating.
• To send you daily puzzle reminders and account-related emails (you can opt out).
• To improve the platform by analyzing aggregate usage patterns.

We never sell your data to third parties.

Payments

If you purchase Numberthon Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe handles all payment details securely. We only receive your email and subscription status to enable premium features.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time. Use the "Delete my account" option in your Profile, or contact us and we will remove your data within 30 days.

Children

Numberthon is designed for students and math learners of all ages. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us before creating an account.
